Our Twin Ports United Methodist Ministries: Asbury, Faith, First, Forbes, Hillside, Hope and Norton Park United Methodist Churches present Adventure Day Camp 2018. Camp dates are July 23 to July 26 from 10:00 am to 3:15 pm each day at Horace Johnson Boy Scout Camp, Island Lake. Bussing will be provided. Eligible campers are those finishing Kindergarten through 7th grade. There will be canoeing, arts and crafts, story/drama, swimming, games, an exploration station and snacks and a great deal of fun!
Camp scholarships are available through the UMW. Registration forms are on the table in the narthex. Registration deadline is July 9. Please contact Pastor Cindy with questions.
Youth counselors/volunteer opportunities are also available. Applications, a health form and an expectations’ information sheet are available on the table in the narthex. Mandatory Youth Counselor/Volunteer training will be on Sunday, July 22, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at First UMC, 230 E. Skyline Pkwy., Duluth. Root beer floats will be served — yummy!
