Camp Minnesota has let Asbury UMC know that a camp scholarship is available for summer camp. As part of their legacy, Lester Park UMC (closed in 2018) established a fund through the Minnesota UM Foundation to help send area youth to summer camp. The fund provides up to four $200 camp scholarships per year and will be given to campers who meet ALL of the following requirements:
- Camper must be in 6th to 12th grade.
- Camper must be affiliated with Asbury UMC.
- Camper must attend a camp at Northern Pines Camp, Koronis Ministries or Kowakan Adventures.
Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. After registering for camp (click HERE for registration form), please contact Camp Minnesota at 855-622-1973 to have the scholarship applied.
If additional financial assistance is needed beyond the $200 scholarship, campership funds are available through the Minnesota Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church (click HERE for campership application).
