CHUM’s beloved Rhubarb Festival will once again be hosted at Asbury UMC, 6822 Grand Ave. on Saturday, June 27 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm across the Asbury UMC grounds and surrounding neighborhood.
This joyful celebration of creativity, generosity, and community is a family-friendly event featuring rhubarb pies and baked goods, a café, live music, kids’ games, contests, and community fun. Admission is free, and all are welcome. The festival is a smoke and pet free event.
What to Expect
If you’ve never been to the Rhubarb Festival, you’re in for a great time! Festival-goers can purchase fresh rhubarb pies, crisps, jams, muffins and scones along with rhubarb brats and burritos. The Rhubarb Café has rhubarb lemonade and coffee for sale along with a plethora of delicious treats. There will be plus live music, crafts, contests, coloring, sidewalk chalk, a raffle, a pie eating contest, the Kids Zone plus the 2026 debut of several new competitions.
Volunteers Still Welcome
Many hands make rhubarb work! Whether you can serve pie, help with setup, greet guests, or take down tents, your time and energy make a difference. Where Do I Park?
We kindly ask that guests with limited mobility or special accessibility needs park at: Bethany Community Church, 6700 Grand Avenue. From Bethany, you can enter through the secondary festival entrance off of 67th Avenue W. All other guests are encouraged to park at:
Spirit Mountain Bike Park and Trailhead, 8551 Grand Avenue. A free shuttle to the festival grounds will run regularly from the trailhead, starting at 9:30 am, and ending at 3:30 pm. The shuttle will drop passengers off at the main festival entrance off of Grand Avenue.
